The Worship Jesus Workshop - Feeding Hills, MA

You are invited to the Worship Jesus Workshop. Meeting on the First and Third Thursdays of each month from 7pm to 830pm, at the Underground of Lighthouse Christian Church, 522 Springfield St, Feeding Hills.

What is The Worship Jesus Workshop? The Workshop is a Christian gathering of inter-church, inter-denominational worshippers who (in addition to their local church responsibilities) are led by the Lord Jesus Christ to glorify God as a greater body of worshipping believers. The Workshop is sponsored by Mission Pioneer Valley. The Workshop is a primary resource of the MPV worship team.

The Workshop seeks bring together musicians, singers, and audio technicians from all church backgrounds into a greater public setting to be a unified expression of Jesus. Our heart is to minister the life of Christ, not just to believers, but to as many as would be saved.

The primary qualification: We desire those whose hearts are for Jesus and who will worship Him simply because they love Him. We want to keep first things first - gifting and talent become secondary.

The Workshop seeks: to cultivate hearts of worship in the presence of the Lord, to be challenged to grow in love for Jesus through scriptures and song, to encourage one another to lead from the heart.
We want to be an iron-sharpening-iron venue for musicians and voices, to nourish abilities, to collaborate in song writing, to develop voicing and harmony, to inspire creativity as Christ ministers to each of us.

Questions and Answers

Are we a choir? No. We are a gathering of both musicians and singers and sound technicians. More like a band, but allowing room for corporate voices to be brought forward.

When do we meet? First and Third Thursdays of each month From 7 – 830 pm. At the Underground of Lighthouse Christian Church, 522 Springfield Street, Feeding Hills, MA 01030

Should I bring my instrument? Yes if possible. We are just at the beginning now but will try to make provision for you.

Shall I bring a scripture? Yes, please be ready to share what the Lord has placed on your heart.

Shall I bring a song? Yes, by all means. We want to worship to both existing songs and to create new ones.

Can I just come, watch and see, and soak in His Presence? Absolutely. Everyone is welcome.

Is musical proficiency a requirement? Not as much as having a desire to worship Jesus. Skill is good, but loving Him is better. He will teach us, as we learn and follow Him.

Why do we support Mission Pioneer Valley? The Workshop has been birthed through MPV. MPV has monthly Unity Services and also a monthly Pastors’ Prayer Lunch. MPV wants to draw a worship team(s) from The Workshop to provide support at both events. Our vision is to have a large enough reservoir of worshippers so members can rotate through, thus eliminating overburdening any single member/team.
