Celtic Christian worship - a way of connecting with God by seeing the world through creation, nature, poetry, music, stories and silence - vibrant with unique expressions of God’s grace - and all springing from the tradition and culture of ancient Ireland. At St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 335 Longmeadow St., Longmeadow, MA, we worship once a month in the Celtic tradition.
“Stillness and Waiting” is the theme of the Celtic service on Saturday, December 14th, at 5 PM. The service will incorporate hymns, prayers, candle lights, meditation, periods of silent reflection - and music by the Meadow Flutes, Nancy Miller, Andrea Taupier, Laura Wilkins and Lynn Wilson.
Our Celtic worship services are held the 2nd Saturday of each month, from October 2024 through March 2025. They are open to the public with no admission fee. Even if you haven’t been in a long time, even if you aren’t really a churchy person, even if your spirit is yearning for something you can’t name, you are welcome to our Celtic worship.
